I have never written a review, but I would like to say that the Lenovo S10 is a very nice machine, and in my case I have the black unit with 2 gigabytes of RAM (which I personally installed) and an HDD with two partitions, one that reads 103GB and the other with 30GB.

The machine has Windows XP Service Pack 3 and I would characterize it as a “pocket rocket”… This thing flies, and is very nice to use.

My only complaint? Well, considering other options available, the choice of plastics could have been better… My S10 is new, and with a couple days worth of normal use, the trackpad surface is starting to get the shiny appearance of other laptops I’ve used well more than this one… I should also mention that the multi-card reader leaves more than half of a regular SD card sticking-out of the machine while in use…

My battery is a 3 cell unit, and I can squeeze almost two and a half hours out of it, at full screen brightness with wi-fi web browsing.

The S10 runs very quietly and is cool to the touch. It’s also a real head turner!

Overall I am very pleased with my machine.
